FCAT Writes Tuesday

So today the sophmores took the FCAT Writes and the freshman took the Hillsborough Writes in homeroom and I don't have a homeroom so I thought I would be collecting materials or covering a class. Nope. I sat in my classroom for 2 hours grading papers. But than I ran out of stuff to grade so I made a new seating chart and rearranged the desks. Than I started cleaning my room. Got all the windows and the board. I still have to do the bulletin board but I can do that tomorrow.

Early Release Monday

Today was an early release day which means classes are 39 minutes instead of 50 minutes. Tomorrow we have FCAT Writes in homeroom and I don't have a homeroom so who knows what I will have to do. Than on Wednesday, I have to give up my planning period and my ISS period to cover classes while the teachers in a certian building proctor the SAT for juniors.
NOTES:
1. FCAT Writes is Florida's standardized writing test for sophomores, freshmen take the Hillsborough Writes.
2. My county is making all the juniors take the SAT for free.

Pep Rally Friday

So yesterday we had a pep rally for our spring sports and as usual, I volunteered to do ISS. I cannot stand pep rallys. Other than that I had a pretty chill day. Geometry had a quiz and English just had to read chapter 6 of To Kill a Mockingbird while I graded their chapter 5 study guide.
